Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how META PC, LLC d/b/a "META PCs" ("META PCs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through our online store at meta-pcs.myshopify.com and our retail locations, or when you otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services").
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. If you have any conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the practices described in it.
1. Personal Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us and where you live:
- Identity & Contact Information — first and last name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, and any usernames or account identifiers you create.
- Account Information — username, password (stored hashed), security preferences, communication preferences, and account settings.
- Financial Information — payment card details, bank account information, financing application details (when you apply through one of our financing partners), and payment confirmation details. Card numbers are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors and are not stored on our servers.
- Transaction Information — items viewed, added to cart, wishlisted, purchased, returned, or exchanged; order history; warranty claims; RMA records.
- Communications With Us — content of customer-support inquiries, chat transcripts, emails, and call records.
- Device & Technical Information — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, time zone, browser plug-ins, referring URLs, and other technology on the device you use to access the Services.
- Usage Information — pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on each page, navigation paths, whether you are a new or returning visitor, and how you interact with embedded content (videos, configurators).
- Marketing & Communications Preferences — your email and SMS subscription status, marketing channel preferences, and survey responses.
We also collect, use, and share Aggregated Data (statistical or demographic information that does not directly or indirectly identify you). If we combine Aggregated Data with personal information so that it becomes identifying, we treat it as personal information.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, contact customer support, sign up for marketing, enter a promotion, or interact with our live chat.
- Automatically through the Services — through cookies, server logs, web beacons, and similar technologies as you use the Services or interact with our emails.
- From our service providers — including our payment processors, fulfillment and shipping partners, fraud-prevention vendors, analytics providers, and financing providers.
- From advertising partners — including ad networks and search information providers, who may share data about your interactions with our advertisements.
3. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide and improve the Services — fulfill your orders, process payments, ship and deliver products, handle returns and warranty claims, manage your account, customize the shopping experience, recommend products, and improve site functionality.
- Communicate with you — send order confirmations, shipment notices, RMA correspondence, account notices, and respond to customer-support inquiries.
- Marketing and advertising — send promotional emails, SMS, and postal mail (with your consent where required by law); show you online ads on our site and on third-party sites; analyze marketing performance.
- Security, fraud prevention, and compliance — authenticate accounts; detect and prevent fraud, chargebacks, and abuse; protect public safety; comply with legal obligations; respond to lawful requests from government and law enforcement.
- Legal and business purposes — enforce our Terms of Service and other policies; pursue or defend legal claims; transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (subject to the safeguards in Section 11).
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information to third parties only as described in this Policy. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes without your consent.
We may disclose personal information to:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the Services and processes personal information about your access to and use of the store. See Section 5 for more.
- Service providers acting on our behalf — including payment processors, fulfillment and shipping carriers, fraud-detection vendors, analytics vendors, cloud-storage providers, financing partners (Affirm, PayTomorrow, Bread, Progressive, Katapult and similar), customer-support platforms, and warranty/RMA partners. These providers receive only the information they need to perform their service and are contractually required to protect it.
- Business and marketing partners — including ad-network and analytics partners (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, etc.) for targeted advertising and performance measurement. You may opt out of targeted advertising as described in Section 7.
- Affiliate program partners — if you participate in our affiliate program, certain transaction information (without your full personal data) is shared with the referring affiliate to calculate commissions.
- At your direction or with your consent — for example, when you share content through social-media widgets or sign in with a third-party identity provider.
- When required by law — to comply with subpoenas, court orders, government requests, or other legal process; to investigate or prevent fraud or security threats; or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights of our customers or others.
- In a business transaction — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case personal information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this Privacy Policy or an equivalent policy.
5. Relationship With Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, Inc. Information you submit to the Services is transmitted to and stored by Shopify, including on servers that may be located outside your country of residence. Shopify processes personal information to provide and improve the Services for us, and in some cases — for example, when fraud-detection or network-intelligence features are enabled — Shopify is an independent controller of certain information about your interactions across the Shopify merchant network.
To learn more about how Shopify handles personal information, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") to operate and improve the Services and to deliver advertising. Cookies fall into three buckets:
- Necessary — required for site functionality (cart, checkout, login).
- Statistic / Analytics — help us understand how visitors interact with the Services (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Marketing / Advertising — used to deliver relevant ads on our site and on third-party sites (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel, ad-network cookies).
Third-party services we currently use
- Google Analytics — site analytics. Opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google Ads & DoubleClick — display and search advertising. Opt out at Google Ads Settings.
- Shopify Web Pixels — first-party analytics and conversion tracking handled by Shopify.
- Klaviyo — email marketing and audience segmentation. Unsubscribe via any of our marketing emails.

7. Targeted Advertising Opt-Out
You can opt out of targeted advertising by emailing support@metapcs.com with the subject line "Tracking / Targeted Ad Opt-Out." We will honor your request across the advertising tools we control. You will continue to see general (non-targeted) ads.
8. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If you visit our site with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled in your browser, we will treat that signal as an opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes, to the extent applicable to your jurisdiction. To learn more about GPC, see https://globalprivacycontrol.org/.
We do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.
9. Marketing Communications and CAN-SPAM
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.) in all commercial email communications. We do not send unsolicited bulk email.
If you have given us permission (by opting in, creating an account, or otherwise), we may send you promotional emails about products, sales, and other offers. You can opt out at any time:
- Click the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, or
- Email support@metapcs.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line.
Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional emails related to your orders, account, or RMA cases.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.
- Right to Know / Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information about you (subject to retention exceptions).
- Right to Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Portability — request a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — direct us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information for targeted advertising purposes (see Sections 7 and 8).
- Right to Non-Discrimination — you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@metapcs.com with a description of your request and the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request, as permitted or required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf — the agent will need to provide proof of authorization, and we may require verification directly from you.
We will respond to requests within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 to 45 days).
