Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed with META PC, LLC d/b/a "META PCs" ("we," "us," or "our") are processed, packaged, shipped, insured, and delivered. By placing an order, you agree to this Policy.

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship to addresses within the United States and Canada. Orders to addresses outside these countries are not accepted at checkout.

Canadian orders are processed through standard customs. Any applicable import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are calculated at checkout where supported.

2. Order Processing Time

Most orders ship within 1 to 3 business days of build completion. "Business days" means Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

Build completion timing depends on the product:

  • Ready-to-Ship (RTS) systems typically ship within 1 to 3 business days of order.
  • Custom-configured systems require build time before shipping. Estimated build times are shown on the product page and in your order confirmation.
  • Peripherals and accessories typically ship within 1 to 3 business days.

If your order will be delayed beyond the estimated handling time, we will notify you by email.

3. Order Confirmation vs. Shipment Confirmation

An order confirmation email is sent automatically when your order is placed. This is not a guarantee that the order has been accepted or shipped — it confirms only that we received your order. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to inventory, pricing errors, fraud screening, or other reasons, in which case you will be refunded in full.

A separate shipment confirmation email with tracking information is sent when your order leaves our facility.

4. Shipping Methods and Transit Time

We ship via established carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight LTL carriers for oversized or watercooled systems). Standard transit across the US and Canada is typically 2 to 5 business days after shipment, depending on the destination.

Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for most products. Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

5. Packaging

Every META PCs system ships double-boxed with custom-cut foam inserts. We secure the GPU, CPU cooler, and other heavy components internally before sealing the inner box so nothing comes loose in transit. Each shipment includes a packing slip and a quick-start sheet for first boot.

Oversized configurations (full-tower watercooled systems, certain workstation builds) ship via LTL freight in protective crates. Delivery may require a freight appointment.

6. Adult Signature Requirement on PCs

All shipments containing a fully built PC system require adult signature (21+) at delivery. Please ensure an adult is available to receive the package, or arrange a hold-at-location pickup with the carrier. Carriers typically attempt delivery three times; after the final attempt, the package is returned to us, and you are responsible for any reship shipping costs.

Peripherals, accessories, and standalone monitors do not require adult signature.

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the order's weight, dimensions, destination, and chosen service level. The cost shown at checkout is final unless you change the shipping address after the order has been placed.

8. Address Changes

If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, email support@metapcs.com immediately with your order number and the corrected address. We can usually accommodate address changes prior to shipment; once the package has been picked up by the carrier, address changes are subject to the carrier's policies and may incur additional fees.

We are not responsible for delays or lost packages caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.

9. Title to Products and Risk of Loss in Transit

Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon our delivery of the product to the shipping carrier. Once the carrier accepts the package, the package is your property in transit, and the carrier is responsible for safe delivery.

10. Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives visibly damaged:

  1. Photograph the outer box and the damage before unboxing further.
  2. Contact support@metapcs.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and the photos.
  3. We will help you file a damage claim with the carrier and walk you through next steps for repair or replacement.

Damage claims filed outside the 48-hour window may not be honored by the carrier, which limits our ability to assist.

11. Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking indicates your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please:

  1. Check with neighbors, building management, and other household members.
  2. Contact the carrier directly to open a delivery investigation.
  3. Notify support@metapcs.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date so we can assist with the carrier claim.

Because risk of loss transfers to you at carrier hand-off, lost or stolen packages after delivery are subject to the carrier's claim process. We will support you through that process but cannot guarantee replacement.

12. Backorders and Out-of-Stock Items

If an item you ordered becomes unavailable after the order is placed, we will email you with the expected restock date. You may choose to:

  • Wait for the item to ship when restocked
  • Swap to a comparable in-stock item
  • Cancel the order for a full refund of that line item

13. Sales Tax and Other Charges

Sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address. For Canadian orders, applicable provincial/federal taxes, customs duties, and brokerage fees are the recipient's responsibility.

14. Warranty-Related Shipping

For warranty service of a defective system under our Lifetime Service & Support Warranty:

  • First 30 days from purchase: META PCs covers shipping costs both directions.
  • After the first 30 days: Customer is responsible for shipping the unit to us. Return shipping after repair is at our cost.

Walk-in service at any META PCs retail location is free at any time during the warranty period.
