Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy ("Policy") explains how we handle returns, refunds, cancellations, and order changes for products purchased from META PC, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company doing business as "META PCs" ("META PCs," "we," "us," or "our") through this store. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

For warranty service (defective hardware repaired or replaced under our Lifetime Service & Support Warranty), please see our Lifetime Support Warranty page instead.

1. Return Window

You may return any product purchased from us for any reason within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. To be accepted, your return must be postmarked back to us on or before the 30th day after your order date.

We do not accept returns postmarked after the 30-day window has closed.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a refund, the returned product must:

  • Be unused and in new condition
  • Be in its original, unopened packaging, with all factory seals intact
  • Include all documentation, media, accessories, cables, and components that were included in the original shipment
  • Be packaged for return shipping so that it arrives undamaged

Any product that arrives at our facility damaged, opened (where unopened return is required), missing components, or showing signs of use will not qualify for a refund. We may, at our discretion, return such items to you at your expense or charge a higher restocking fee proportional to the loss in resale value.

3. Custom-Built PCs

Custom-configured systems (any PC built to a configuration you selected rather than an off-the-shelf Ready-to-Ship model) are returnable under the same 30-day window only if the original packaging has not been opened. Once the packaging is opened, the system is no longer eligible for a refund because the parts cannot be returned to general inventory.

4. Restocking Fee

A 30% restocking fee (calculated on the sales price you paid) applies to all returned items that are not defective. Defective products covered by our Lifetime Support Warranty are exchanged or repaired at no restocking charge under that policy.

5. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable:

  • Original shipping and handling charges (unless we provided free shipping on the order, in which case there is nothing to refund)
  • Return shipping costs (your responsibility — see Section 6)
  • Any merchant-processor or third-party financing fees we incurred at the time of sale (these will be deducted from your refund)

6. Return Shipping

You are responsible for all return shipping costs and for any loss or damage to the product during the return shipment.

Returns must be shipped using a service that provides tracking. We strongly recommend insuring the package for the full purchase price. We are not responsible for returned products that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

If we have provided a prepaid return label as a courtesy, the cost of that label will be deducted from your refund.

7. Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order at no charge by emailing support@metapcs.com within three (3) business days of your purchase date, provided the order has not yet shipped. Include your order number in the cancellation request.

Cancellation requests received after the 3-business-day window — or after the order has shipped — will be treated as a return under this Policy.

For any cancellation or return, merchant-processor fees and third-party financing fees incurred by META PCs at the time of sale will be deducted from your refund.

8. Order Changes

Modifications to an existing order may be permitted prior to shipment. Email support@metapcs.com with your order number and the change you'd like to make. Added items are subject to availability and may not ship in the same time-frame as the original order.

9. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email support@metapcs.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will respond with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions.
  3. Pack the product in its original packaging and ship it back to us using a tracked service so it is postmarked within the 30-day return window.

Returns sent without an RMA, or sent to a different address than the one provided in the RMA instructions, may be refused or delayed.

10. Important Data Notice

Back up your data before returning a PC or storage device. You should remove any confidential or personal information and any removable media before shipping a product back to us. We are not responsible for loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to any data, files, or media on returned products.

11. Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it and email you to confirm whether the return is approved or rejected based on the criteria above. Approved refunds are issued to your original method of payment within a reasonable time after inspection. Your bank or card provider typically takes another 3 to 10 business days to post the credit to your statement.

If you do not see the refund within that window, please review your bank or card statement first, then contact your payment provider; the refund timing after we issue the credit is outside our control.

12. Wrong Item Received

If we shipped you the wrong system or a component that doesn't match your order, contact support@metapcs.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the packing slip and the mismatched parts. We will arrange to send the correct item at no shipping cost to you.

13. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives visibly damaged, photograph the box and the damage before unboxing further, and contact support@metapcs.com within 48 hours of delivery. Title and risk of loss in transit transfer to you upon our delivery to the carrier; damage claims are filed through the carrier. We will help you navigate the carrier's claim process and discuss repair or replacement once it is resolved.

14. Manufacturer Warranties on Third-Party Products

Products we resell that are manufactured by a third party (peripherals, monitors, accessories, etc.) are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty and return policy as included with the product. We may assist you with manufacturer RMA processing as a courtesy but are not the warranty obligor on those items.

15. Pixel Policy on Notebooks and Monitors

Many notebooks and monitors we sell come with a "No Dead Pixel Guarantee" of 45 or 90 days from the original manufacturer. Pixel defect claims must be made directly to the manufacturer under their published policy. We do not process pixel claims on behalf of third-party manufacturers.
